Known for being early to the party (we have an incredible streak of on-time deliveries) and
ahead of the trends, Stay Gold reflects my love of classic and color-forward furniture. Here,
you’ll find vintage and modern pieces that spark conversations and set the mood.
While boutique, hand-selected party rentals are my jam, I can’t help but to do so much more
than simply rent out furniture. In fact, I’ll design the scene, deliver the furniture, and set it all up
on site so all you have to do is take it all in. Plus there’s the free mockups, one-on-one guidance
and the “Hey, can we lend a hand?”question you’ll hear every time my team and I deliver a
single thing. Most of the wedding couples and planners I work with go from feeling overwhelmed
with options to over the moon. Look forward to the whole shebang, and nothing less.
An interior designer turned furniture collector, I founded Stay Gold Event
Rentals to offer a unique perspective on design. To create an oasis within
event venues — taking the landscape, color palette and ambiance into mind,
and creating a temporary retreat that leaves lasting impressions.
While I love elevating the personality, comfort, and memories of an event,
my favorite part is the natural invitation to sit back and share a
conversation. I picture grandparents cozying up by the dance floor, a newly
married couple enjoying an intimate moment together, and even mere
strangers hitting it off, perhaps leading to another wedding down the road.

Looking around, you might be surprised (what-with my playful inventory) to
learn that my favorite color is black and my own home has quite the neutral color
palette. That’s why I don’t flinch one bit, regardless of the request. Neutral and
editorial? You’ve got it. Bold and dramatic? Say no more.
Creating a lounge area, custom-building a backdrop, picking out the perfect
sweetheart chairs — it’s a form of creative expression every single time. All
revolving around your design tastes. The best part is that it’s sustainable. No need
to buy a sofa just to place it in your basement to collect dust. A lot of my pieces
are repurposed and given a new life. I’ll find sofas at estate sales, velvet chairs at
vintage hole-in-the-walls. You name it, I’ve probably found something there.
If you can't find me searching for more special pieces to add to our inventory,
you can find me snuggling with my fur babies or making a mess in the kitchen.

There’s one question that started this entire journey: “How can I have an entire
warehouse of vintage furniture?” Here’s what happened. While planning my own
wedding, I naturally sought out a few eclectic pieces we could use to make the space
our own at the venue. I was already an interior designer and even in high school, I was
that kid who was wearing vintage clothes and spending her weekends at estate sales.
When I had the chance to visit these warehouses full of vintage furniture, I knew that
was exactly what I wanted to do. So we put down roots in Austin, Texas, where my
husband and I were living, launched the company, originally coined Scavenged Vintage
Rentals, and off we went.
Since then, we’ve moved to Tulsa, filled a warehouse with trendsetting inventory and
re-branded to Stay Gold Event Rentals to better incorporate all vibes.
