Styled shoots are one of the best ways for wedding vendors to showcase their craft and help push trends in the wedding industry forward. The group of vendors involved in this styled shoot are so talented and I think it really shows in the results. So without further ado, a shoot with a lot of contrasting textures and strategic pops of color!
When your color palette is mostly neutral, it’s important to incorporate different textures so that the design doesn’t fall flat. This could include materials like linen, terracotta, metal, leather, lace, the list goes on and on.
While an all neutral palette is lovely, having a few pops of color, even if it’s subtle, really brings everything together. Did you notice the terracotta bud vases and matching terracotta napkins on the table? How about the pillows with colorful florals and the florals around the cake? They aren’t overpowering but they are a nice subtle detail that makes the design more interesting. Have I talked you into incorporating some pops of color yet? It helps add some depth, especially when you look back on your wedding photos. Don’t be afraid to add some in!
